Sustainably produced
Both the plant and the pot are sustainably produced. The plants are grown in accordance with the Environmental Project for Ornamental Plant Production. The pots are made from sustainable material, namely recycled paper. Watch a video about the pots below.
Peat-free soil
The plants are grown in peat-free soil. The plants are 100% peat-free. Peat is excavated from peatlands, and this process releases nitrogen. This has adverse effects on the environment, as nitrogen emissions contribute to air pollution and exacerbate the greenhouse effect. By growing our plants in peat-free soil, we contribute to a more sustainable production process.
Fully compostable
Our plants are delivered in a fully compostable pot, which means that both the plant and the pot can be disposed of directly in the green bin. The pot is made from biodegradable materials that decompose naturally without leaving behind any harmful substances. This also means that you can plant the plant in your own garden with the pot and all.
The pot may become damp over time. We recommend using a coaster.
